Skills Can Bring You More Thrills

Learning a skill

If you had the unfortunate experience of going to a compulsory school, you were made to learn a lot of things you didn’t choose.

Some subjects you may have liked, but nobody likes all subjects even if they were straight A students.

Straight A students like getting the A more than they dislike the subject.

When we have the choice to learn a skill, we learn it without resistance. We know how it can help us. We know how it can help others.

Maintaining the skill

When we work within a skill set, we may work in that skill set for life.

We may have to take continuing education courses on that skill. Then, we may decide we no longer want to work in the skill set.

Therefore, we no longer need the continuing education in it.

We learn a different skill set that’s more suited for us and that is one of the skill sets we keep for life.

Teaching a skill

It’s great when we like a skill so much that we teach it. We positively influence others to improve themselves.

Teaching a skill also helps us to learn more about the subject or skill. You can teach according to your own teaching style.

More on teaching styles in the next issue. Of course, we should know our audience.

Teaching is actually a lucrative business using online platforms. There’s the fortune tip for today.
